Sick Enough

Exhibited in Dis/Order 2 at the Maryland Institute College of Art

Sick Enough is a visual commentary on the world of mental health care. It criticizes the failings of insurance companies to provide treatment through what is and is not deemed "medically necessary," and the unspoken, perplexing competition that it causes. It challenges the perception of sickness and gives light to experiences of the mental health system through the personal treatment history of the artist.
